QR Code, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 128, Code 39, Code 93, Codabar, ITF, Data Matrix, PDF417 and Aztec. Browsers with built-in barcode detection, such as Chrome on Android and Mac, use it; others use the bundled decoder.

Tips for a quick read

  • Hold the barcode horizontally in the middle of the frame.
  • Tilt slightly to avoid glare on shiny packaging.
  • In low light, use the Flash button on supported devices.

FAQ

Does it show the product price?
Barcodes only contain a product number, not a price. "Search the product" runs a web search for that number.
Can I scan many items in a row?
Turn on "Continuous scan" to keep reading without stopping. Results collect in your scan history, which you can export as CSV.
